During a very short period of time, a total of 6 meetings were held in our parish, during which the following synodal issues were reflected upon: “Dialogue in the Church and Society,” “Listening,” “Forming in Synodality,” “Taking the floor,” “Companions on the journey,” “Discernment and decision-making,” and “Co-responsibility.” The general meetings, which all parishioners were invited to attend, were also attended by representatives of individual parish communities. Four meetings were held in groups: youth, parish council and economic council, people from 25-60 years of age and with people over 60. Each group ranged from 10-15 people. They are believers who participate in the Church’s liturgy. Each group was given questions for synodal reflection. After praying to the Holy Spirit, listening to the Gospel passage and a moment of silence, those willing to speak up answered the questions that were most relevant to them. They were listened to with understanding and respect for their position, on the topics they raised.
